I've got to disagree with my husband regarding the decision of Governor McGreevey to resign. His situation is completely different than that of former President Clinton. Clinton lied under oath about having sex with an intern -- an affair that directly affected his work performance and status as boss. From what I know, McGreevey's affair was with another consenting male peer, not an intern. If he wants to resign to focus on getting his personal affairs in order, then I understand and agree with his decision. But, I don't think McGreevey owes it to his constituents to say he had a homosexual affair (whether it be with a man or a woman).

On a somewhat related note, I'm still irritated that the Republican Party ran away from Jack Ryan just because he wanted to have sex with his wife. Sure, it was an unusual sexual request (cages and handcuffs in a public club is admittedly a unique proposition) but she said no and that was it. Get over it.
