OK, I'm a little late in writing about this one. I can't believe that James Hart is the Republican candidate for Congress from our 8th District. A support of eugenics ... wonderful. I really wish this had not slipped under the state GOP radar and that they had managed to get someone else on the primary ballot. Finding a write-in candidate, even a good one, wasn't enough to stop this twisted man. I'll be hoping for a Democratic victory in the fall, and I don't think that's too much of a stretch. The Democratic incumbent is quite popular. Someone who has to wear a bulletproof vest when going door-to-door because his politics are so hateful does not deserve a single vote. Any Republican who votes for him just to be a loyal partisan (it's easier than actually learning about each candidate) will earn no respect from me.
