The disparities in poll results the last couple of days are intriguing. The Gallup poll of likely voters, for obvious reasons, is currently my favorite (Bush leads Kerry 55%-42%). The Pew Research poll is a registered voter poll, and it shows a dead heat. Typically likely voter polls trend Republican, and registered voter polls trend Democrat.

The result? A Bush landslide.

There are many more miles to travel before we sleep, but the sentiments of the American people over the last few weeks are encouraging, to say the least.
