We are in Savannah, Georgia for the weekend for a wedding. Blogging may be slight, but will resume with full force on Tuesday.

In the meantime, we listened to a lot of talk radio on the drive down. It seems that Senator Kerry has, for all his national barnstorming, lost his voice. This may be the best thing he could do - I wouldn't be surprised to see him gain 3-5 points nationally while recuperating. Unfortunately for the Dems, this is not a sustainable strategy. Acting mute during the debates might just backfire.

On the drive from Macon to Savannah along I-16, which, for those who know, is among the most desolate stretches of interstate east of the Mississippi, there was a welcomed sight. Right outside Dublin, Georgia, someone had bought an Interstate billboard for Bush / Cheney 2004. I knew I was in friendly territory for sure. At 12am on that road, anything to keep you awake is a good thing.

More later.
