I don't like to say people are dumb - most aren't. But Cher's incoherent babbling in Miami last night is hard to overlook. For instance

"I think that as Bush will, if Bush gets elected, he will put in new Superior Court judges, and these guys are not going to want to see gay pride week."

If you're going to speak in front of a lot of people about politics, make sure you know what you're talking about.

Then there's this

"There were supposed to be thousands of people here tonight. I'm not sure why that didn't happen, obviously the people putting on this thing were just not very good at it," an embarrassed Cher explained to the crowd.

"Alright, but you guys are here, that's right. When I was coming down the steps I though 'Oh s**t, well I'll just go out there and give it my best.'"

So she's a jerk, too. Talk about being ungratious. The story announcing her arrival is here. There was supposed to be a draft scare worked in somewhere during the rally, but I couldn't find any quotes yet on it. No more details from the scheduled Q & A, either. Maybe Drudge can dredge more details up.
