Can't those Nobel people select someone who actually reflects well on the Peace award?

Wangari Maathai may know who was on the grassy knoll.

She claims that some "evil-minded scientist" (her words, verbatim) created the AIDS virus to rid the world of black people. Her proof? Well, something about living with monkeys for a long time without AIDS (referring to the green monkey theory).

It is entirely possible that AIDS has been around a lot longer than we previously thought. Maathai does not consider this option. Conspiracy makes for better copy, I suppose.

And just as a refresher on the lunatic nature of the Nobel Peace Prize, here's a list of some of the more notable recent recipients
