His most recent column covers Michael Moore's appearance here in Nashville. Not only does the man have the gall to ruin the goodness of my namesake, he has the audacity to come to my town and call Tennessee a "swing state". Then there's Lewis' rather dull point, seeming rather excited that in a county of 550,000, and a metro area of 1.2 million, 6000 people coming to see Michael Moore in a venue that holds 17500 warrants an exclamation of "Where did all these people come from?".
Right.
Then there is Lewis with the most brilliant of observations. In quoting Michael Moore's shouts of innanity to the crowd
''What has kept our media from telling the truth?'' he said. ''No. 1, something is wrong when you have to pay $8-$9 (the price of a ticket to the Moore appearance) to get information when you should be getting something for free.''
He does have a point.
What that point is, and what media conspiracy has been confirmed, is never said, by Moore or Lewis.|||109795811509390226|||Delightful
