CNN finally mentions their own poll on their own website, and predictably buries the most relevant results - Bush up by 8 in a survey of likely voters - behind the much closer registered voter data.

The headline belies the likely voter results Poll: Presidential race still tight, preferring to focus instead on the opinions of those who will not in fact decide the election.

I ask the question ad nauseum - why does anyone even bother doing registered voter polls? I think I know the answer, and it doesn't rhyme with "journalistic integrity".
