The looming Battle for Fallujah, lost among the laments of defeat by the Left here at home, will be a decisive battle not only in Iraq, but in the War on Terror. Al Qaeda remnants have made their stand in Iraq, and have concentrated forces, most unwisely for them, in the rebellious city of Fallujah. This is not a battle against insurgency, but a battle against Al Qaeda, on our terms. Now there are 10,000 allied troops surrounding the city, most of them United States Marines.

UPDATE According to CBS News, preliminary action in the liberation of Fallujah has begun.
