Sort of - seems that Democrats don't think much of the intellectual capacity of stay-at-home moms

(Susan) Kaestner, a Nashville stay-at-home mother who once worked in graphics design, is now the president of the Tennessee Forum, an organization campaigning to oust Naifeh, a Covington Democrat, and 15 other lawmakers in Tuesday's elections.

Naifeh and other prominent Democrats say the group, whose day-to-day operation is run by Kaestner and another homemaker, is a front for a small group of Republicans who are well-heeled financially and are anything but political novices.

Seems that the speaker finds it inconceivable that anyone who does not like him. Perhaps he should pay closer attention, and stop attempting to tax and spend the good people of Tennessee into fiscal oblivion.

'Nobody's ever told me, 'This is what we need to do,' '' Kaestner said.

She said the Democrats' argument is sexist.

''What a slam against stay-at-home mothers!'' she said, noting that she and Eades had good, demanding jobs before they decided to be full-time parents. ''Why are we not bright and articulate enough to do this? … You don't just get stupid because you had babies.''

Fair point - and consistent with their rhetoric. (Hat tip to faithful reader Bob Brown).
