The ruling on poll watchers in Ohio came down this morning. It was unfavorable, which was expected. A rather partisan federal judge decided that party-affiliated poll watchers would consist of voter intimidation.

I spoke to an attorney friend of mine yesterday, who has been deployed to Ohio by the RNC to be there on the ground in case anything happens, and he thought this decision may come down late tonight, preventing a chance for appeal to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Fortunately, the known liberal judge let the cat out of the bag early, and there will be a chance for a successful appeal.
