I wish I could say it was due to our decision to scale Mount Everest or build new playgrounds in every city in the United States, because those would be great reasons to be away from our computers. But, instead, our lack of writing is mostly due to letting other things get in the way. Wait a second ... there, I have slapped myself on the wrist. I extend a promise to be a better blogger, and I'm sure my husband does the same.
We had a great Christmas Party at Congressman Blackburn's home on Saturday, which was co-hosted by the Davidson and Williamson County Young Republicans. We raised a good bit of money for the children living at Fort Campbell, and enjoyed some great company.
In other news, the mighty black and gold reign atop the AFC at 11-1 (tiebreaker goes to us, Patriot fans!). It's such a fun year to be a Steelers fan! Nathan isn't fairing quite as few.
And, finally, Nathan can't understand my crush on Bill Kristol, the editor of The Weekly Standard. Sometimes we can't help who we love. I think he's lovely.|||110234873640993199|||Hello
