Kerry Spot (from National Review Online) tells of an item he found for sale during a recent shopping trip:

But there was one ornament that had a label, “For your holiday tree.” And what was the ornament?

A miniature nativity scene.

I believe ... and please correct me if I'm wrong ... that a nativity scene would most likely be found on a Christmas tree!

Kerry Spot argues that all of this PC nonsense will create a backlash and we will once again embrace hearty wishes of "Merry Christmas!" I certainly hope so, because the banning of Christmas carols at school concerts and a fear of Christmas trees is ridiculous. I sang both "Silent Night" and "Dreidle, Dreidle, Dreidle" when I was in elementary school and no one seemed offended.
