There is an endless supply of material for blogging about the crazy PC overdrive that we encounter this time of year. I heard one instance while listening to Glenn Beck this morning. A Christian group was banned from Denver's "Parade of Lights" because they wanted to sing Christmas carols and display a banner that read "Merry Christmas". In fact, no mention of Christmas is allowed in the entire parade! However, a group of gay and lesbian Native Americans are allowed to march, as is a group of Chinese dancers who will wash away evil spirits for the new year. The hypocrisy is astounding. Let's embrace spirituality and community unless Christians are somehow involved. We especially don't want those pesky people who believe in Jesus to get in the way during Christmas!!
