I've pondered the future of this blog in the last two weeks. Thankfully, my law practice is growing and I am absurdly busy. Unfortunately, this cuts into my blog-time, which is something I've really enjoyed doing. My original purpose behind starting this blog was to create a venue for my thoughts, which would act as an outlet when there was nothing political going on or when something hit me that I might otherwise forget if I didn't write it down. There are different blog styles out there - some offer more citations than analysis, some offer a combination of both, and some take an issue and employ an essay-like approach. I've been attempting all three at various stages, but find more use and enjoyment out of writing my own thoughts, largely unadulterated by over-citation.
This is what I will do. Sarah may post frequently, but I intend to post every other day or so, but with longer and meatier posts. No more one or two line citations, unless they are of great significance. I don't have the time and no longer feel the need to chase down every drama steeped track that meanders across the blogosphere.
And I promise, more to come, sooner rather than later.
