The nearly completed (sic) Beverly Briley Building was discussed at a meeting of the Criminal Law Section of the Nashville Bar Association today. I am awestruck - this thing is going to be an unmitigated disaster. This is not because I like saying "unmitigated" (which I do) - the planners appear to have made no efforts to mitigate the pressure that people put on the utility of a building.

It's ironic, I know. What good is a building that can't accomodate the people using it? Well, we're soon to find out. I've got to write more on this - it's distinctly in my craw. Check back later.
