Van Hilleary's last ditch request before the most imminent filing deadline for campaign contributions doesn't read like a fundraising campaign led by a confident politician. The general election is 16 months away, and the primary 13 months. If you're using a ticking wristwatch to get your point across right now, I can only imagine the time piece necessary come the last month of the campaign.

I know I'm late noting this, but I found it remarkably odd.
