As posted on The Smoking Gun, a Oklahoma "mother" (and I do use that term very loosely) was arrested for giving birth after splitting a case of beer with her boyfriend just before going into labor. That's just precious. My heart was further warmed when I read that she is "mother" to six other children. Perhaps one of the most disturbing aspects of the story is that this woman was drinking Milwaukee Best. At least introduce the kid to some good stuff! (Please note sarcasm -- I do not condone the intake of any alcohol while pregnant)

I am not in favor of government intervention into our decision to be parents, but it's instances such as this one that make forced sterilization seem somewhat appealing.

As I am currently carrying the first edition of MooreThoughts offspring, I am angered by women who do not take the amazing responsibility of nurturing life with great seriousness and humility.
