This hit the Lebanon Democrat today

The newest question being asked by Tennessee Republicans is will former Congressman Van Hilleary get out of the Senate race and attempt to go back to the House by running against the dean of the Tennessee Congressional delegation, 6th District Congressman Bart Gordon.

Possible, though unlikely. I was skeptical when I initially heard the rumor that Van was intending to take on Gordon from some Bryant supporters I know. Perhaps there's a tad more to it than I originally thought.
