I know I'm late in responding to this story, but I need to share that I find Lt.Gov. Knoll of Pennsylvania to be absolutely disgusting. I cannot believe this woman would attend a Marine's funeral (uninvited) just to hand out business cards ... during communion ... and declare the government's opposition to the war.

The absurdity continued when Governor Rendell defended Knoll by saying, "Nobody can tell me Catherine Baker Knoll is not a caring and decent person. I know she apologizes for any misunderstanding that her actions caused."

I don't think there was much room for misunderstanding. Her actions were wholly inappropriate and she deserves all of the criticism she is now receiving.

Again, I know that this story has been covered by hundreds of blogs already, so I get no points for originality. But, I wanted to get my addition into the online world!
