Again, TeamAntiCorker attempts to make the case that Bob Corker isn’t a Republican…this time by accusing him of raising money for his own campaign too effectively.

Complaints about Bob Corker raising money during the 2004 campaign for his 2006 race possibly soaking up otherwise usable money and making Republicans work that much harder has been called a non-issue by some in the Corker campaign.

And all this time I thought Bob Corker’s money came from a bunch of Democrats and Republican phonies! This line of “reasoning” (scare quotes most intentional) begs many a question. If Bob Corker is so busy taking money from non-Republicans, which fake Republicans were TeamAntiCorker supporting that they think Corker “starved”? If his money all comes from questionable sources (which is intimated on a daily basis by Ward and Co.), this line of questioning is most irrelevant. Please, make up your minds.

The rant goes on - oddly, according to TeamAntiCorker, if you run a well-financed campaign, you must be a Democrat. Further, if you bring business to the city you have been elected to govern, well, you must be a Democrat. If you talk to a Democrat, you are a Democrat. If you look at a Democrat, you become a Democrat. If you breathe the same air as a Democrat, you must be quarantined and euthanized. Then a flawless calf must be sacrificed to cleanse your soul. Likely, your entire extended family would then be exiled to Massachusetts, and your pets stoned for their own good.

Sheesh.

Then, after slamming Bob Corker’s wife, and pretending not to, we come to the most insightful part of the post. Because ALL CAPS always makes a better point, Ward states

BOB CORKER CANNOT BE TRUSTED BY AVERAGE REPUBLICANS

Louder, please. It makes it more convincing. In fact, Bob Corker can be trusted. That is, if you listened to him at all, and took the time to read in context every now and again (this and this come to mind most recently).

I may add that no one hates TeamAntiCorker. I don’t even dislike you - you give me something to do when I’m tired from practicing law every day. And if you want to continue to wave that flag and ride that horse off the upcoming cliff, be my guest. I won’t be standing in the way.
