		<description>To an extent I do agree with your first point - a reporter&#039;s got to find the news. However no balance was provided, save a few notes about older citizens who tried to get them to stop. I guess I&#039;m more condemnatory of the attitude of the rioters than I am of the coverage of the Post, though it may not initially have come across that way when I wrote it.

		<description>I&#039;m not sure that reporting what someone says or thinks about something is giving credence to that point of view.  I agree with your point overall, but as a reporter, isn&#039;t it his/her job to try to get the POV of someone involved in the rioting?

A much larger point to be made (and you&#039;ve already made it somewhat) is that the main stream media is really not getting this story.  They are reporting symptoms.  Instapundit, the Belmont Group you&#039;ve linked, and other bloggers seem to be the only substantive news sources.</description>
