Nathan Moore's Thoughts
Read It Here First!

TeamNoIssues has summoned the courage to diss yours truly when “summarizing” the Senate 23 district primary. The pertinent part
Ray “Chip” T. Throckmorton, III. Trail Lawyer and Mayor of Oak Hill. Chip is mayor of Oak Hill, an incorporated section within Davidson County. He also went to private school in Williamson County and his parents own a business in Franklin. Has reportedly done no work in the Williamson County GOP but is somewhat known in Davidson County. His strongest support seems to be based with a little known blogger/campaign manager/law partner that labeled Throckmorton “The Frontrunner” based upon the support mechanism he has amassed as mayor. Name ID will be an issue and the money is unknown.
“Little known blogger”? I mean, I’m no Glenn Reynolds, but MooreThoughts was on their blog roll until someone had a fit about my pointing out some absurdity or another (sometime last week, I think, when they noted they didn’t care about issues). Goldfish have longer memories than those guys. But they are a good source of fun - with the constant material they produce, I just can’t resist mocking them from time to time.
Anyhow, I do hope that they continue to dismiss Chip and keep not doing their research (that part has not been a problem for some time). In the meantime, they will continue to forget about issues and censor their critics.
UPDATE Roger Abramson had already bailed a few days ago
I think I’ve officially given up on TeamGOP. Between this Donna Locke thing and their publication of (and implied endorsement of) that embarrassingly written “news release” from the Van Hilleary camp regarding Bob Corker a week ago, they seem to treat politics with the same level of sophistication one might find in a high school campaign for prom king. I’d be surprised
They started off with such promise too…alas.
High school? That’s high praise.

Nathan -
I read the TeamEgo post a few days back. Through the laughter, I had to wonder if they were worth any response from an adult like yourself. Like you, I think that “high school” may be giving them a bit too much credence.
They may be the mafia of Tipton County, but no one in East Tennessee even knows of TeamCensor or Jeff Ward. (A few know of Steve Gill, but that would be about it.)
I know we are on different sides of this Senate race, but you’ve got to admit that what Dick Armey said was right. There are serious adults, juvenile delinquents, and bedwetters in this Party. Let us pray that the serious adults win out.
Cheers,
Rob

They are quickly becoming Jeff’s mommy’s defense blog. They had some infighting with the Party in Tipton County, so Jeff has his own “Party”. He is quickly becoming a legend in his own mind, so I would not worry much about what he says.
