Actually, TNRTL was very clear about why they endorsed Ed Bryant over Van Hilleary. It was more than just his 100% pro-life voting record. He is better able than Hilleary to "articulate" a pro-life message and serve as a leader. And, for the record, never once have they said it was based on Mrs. Bryant's volunteer work. But both Mr. and Mrs. Bryant have done volunteer work for pro-life groups for a long time.

I'm sick of Right to Life. I'm against abortion as much as anyone but these people care more about taking care of their friends than advancing the cause. They did the same thing in the US Senate Race. Hilleary and Bryant had the exact same record in Congress and yet RTL endorsed Bryant because *his* wife had done volunteer work. Now they endorse another guy who's going to lose because *his* wife does volunteer work. How does this save babies?

I heard that Jack's wife works with/for the right to life agency. This might just be a rumor, and if it is, I apologize for putting it out there. But if it's true, that would explain a lot.
