If Harold White really did attend the Meet and Greet with the Chamber, no doubt it was to look for more folks to grease his palm. He could care less about the people who live in Donelson or Hermitage.

[...] Many eyes were focused on local politics last night. Not Sarah Moore, for her last night was hyperlocal. She eschewed the mayoral deabte for a political race a bit closer to home: I just returned from the candidate forum for Districts 12-15 sponsored by the Donelson-Hermitage Neighborhood Association. There were nine chairs nicely set up for the candidates at the front of the room. Alas, there were only eight men in attendance. One lonely chair sat cold and unused, with the nameplate of Harold White placed on a table in front of it. [...]

As I understand, the metro council election forum was planned back in March, with the candidates having been invited in April. However, Harold White's "no show" on the seated panel was quite obvious. Another "obvious" is that he apparently considers "his constituents" to be the members of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce since he elected to attend their "Meet and Greet" confab. Must be that that organization contains a lot of developers. $$$$

Councilman Harold White didn't even have the courage to face his constituents and answer for his sorry voting record at that forum last night. I was there too and was really disgusted with him. Have you seen www.NoMoreWhiteLies.com? A neighbor at the forum told me about it. The truth is revealed about our sorry excuse for a councilman. Everybody in Nashville should read it. Then they would certainly understand what you are talking about.I wish I had known who you were last night. I would like to shake your hand and thank you for your internet site.
