Should We Kick West Virginia Out of the Union?

That seems to be the sentiment of the media powers-that-be. Silly, sure. However, it shows you just how sincere the liberal wing of the Democrat Party actually is. We want to help you, you poor, stupid, uneducated, and (gasp) white people. But really, stand aside - let us get to the business of helping you without your input. Don’t you know it’s time to give in, and promote a man unqualified for the presidency because we said so?

Hillary Clinton is winning West Virginia because Barack Obama is unpalpable to its citizenry. He is a metrosexual socialist, and that doesn’t play with real Americans. That’s right - real Americans. Not the fair-weather Americans willing to toss their country into the deep just to be “cool”, who aren’t proud of their country until something truly self-interested happens in a campaign cycle that has the side-effect of disempowering individual liberty. Because, well - West Virginians (and many in the South, by presumption) are too ill-informed to realize the brilliance of Barack Obama.

Brilliant, hell.

The point is, whatever racist bigots may unfortunately exist, the reasons for opposing Obama are not racially based. His judgment is thoroughly suspect, and his ideology belongs more in Havana and Caracas, than Washington, DC. He chose to rise to prominence in Illinois by exploiting racial undertones, and willfully and joyfully embracing an anti-Semite reverse-racist “man of God” as his mentor. He now advances himself by saying nothing more than the bare minimum, employing substance only when required, and reluctantly even at that.

Obama will lose West Virginia tonight. He will lose it in November. And consequently, he will lose the presidency. We as a country, as lost as I sometimes think we might be, are not going to elect someone whose entire public career is Exhibit A in the Left’s case affronting the very spirit of the United States Constitution.

  1. Kenneth Sanders Says:

I agree. Hillary needs to step up the exposure of Barrack Hussaine Obama. Her career is strong in the Senate for New York whether she wins the presidency or not and no matter how negative she goes against Obama. The fact it, Obama will get torn apart by the Republican Party. They have destroyed lives before in order to win an election. They will do it again. Hillary needs to pull out all the baggage that McCain will pull out against Obama and win these remaining states by a significant margin to convince the Super Delegates that are supporting Obama to change their minds. They need to understand that principal now is not what should be voted on. We need to support a Democratic candidate that WILL WIN against McCain. The fact is, McCain has always been a somewhat moderate republican. People know that, and that is why the Republicans have supported him for the nomination. A moderate republican has a better chance against a Democrat in this political season. Hillary is the best candidate for the job and has proven to take on the states that Obama can’t win in November.

Let’s not forget something here. In November there will be “Winner takes all” electoral college votes. In November there will be “No Caucuses”. The results have proven that when someone is in a voting booth and no person is there to pressure them, they have voted their conciense and supported Hillary overwelmingly agains Obama. He has won the “Trend” thing to do in the Caucus States. That won’t be the case in November. People will be within their privacy to vote their concience. They will support McCain, a moderate, over him, a “Who knows who this guy is” candidate.

Oregon, really, do the right thing for the nation at this difficult time. We know the Clintons, we don’t know the Obamas.

  2. Ryan Knows Says:

Wow, the two of you are the kind of people helping us drive the country into the ground. First post, you are pretty frustrating, but Kenneth, your argument is the most stupid, ignorant rant i have heard in my life. They have voted overwhelmingly Clinton in caucuses?!?!? WHAT?!!?! Yeah I guess that’s why Obama is winning delegate and popular vote count. And then the argument that people will vote McCain because they’ve never heard of Obama??? I know, right! How could they have heard of Obama, his name hasn’t been in the news EVERY FUCKING DAY for the Rev. Wright issue mentioned in the first post!! You prove multiple times in what you wrote that “having heard of someone” is the most important thing in voting. (”We know the Clintons, not Obamas.” Wow, I’m proud of you that you didn’t sleep through 8 YEARS OF BILL CLINTON’S PRESIDENCY AND HAVE HEARD HIS LAST NAME.) You prove that you are completely out of the political loop. McCain has changed his ways, have you watched the news?!? He is in no way a moderate any longer. He is adamantly in support of the war. He is adamantly pro-life. He is a red-blooded Republican through and through. He has absolutely zero chance in a general election except in backwards, hick states like West Virginia where the biggest issue is the second amendment. Sorry, but there are bigger issues at stake in America today than whether or not you can hunt. And before I finish with you Col. Sanders, remember, Obama has handled this absolutely ridiculous, un-called for, media circus surrounding Rev. Wright as well as any politician possibly could. As many pundits have said, it would have torn most campaigns apart, but he has explained to the people that we are electing candidates not based on who the people they know are, but who they themselves are. We all have known people with controversial opinions in our lives, whether they be racist, or sexist, or what. Would it be fair if you ran for public office for someone to just pop out of nowhere and start shit the way Wright has? Of course not, but Obama hasn’t sat around complaining about it. We have learned that Hillary will do and say anything to win; she changes her views on everything, and fucking made up that she was GETTING SHOT AT in Bosnia for no reason whatsoever. Why would you even say that?!? She just likes to say things. She is such a false American. Let’s face it: any person today or in the future who has a legitimate shot at the presidency, will not be from the kind of background of Kentucky, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, places like that. They will not be from the backcountry, beer-chugging, football-playing red-blooded American that you people want, and that Hillary has pretended to be for the past few months.
You know what, I am proud for Obama that he has not lowered himself to that level. He is intelligent, he did go to Harvard, he did grow up in an affluent suburb, and he doesn’t feel the need to hide it. Why do people like you guys get upset and say he is elitist and that he thinks he’s better than us? 1) I don’t agree with that; i don’t think he considers himeslf better than average US citizens. 2) Who cares if he does? Wouldn’t you hope that the leader of the free world was smarter and better at handlng important shit than the average American? I would.
I love how in this campaign, the “elitist” candidate is NOT the one who is giving herself 5 million-dollar campaign donations from HER OWN BANK ACCOUNT because she is running out of money. At least Obama is true to who he is. And where you guys get the idea he doesn’t care for Americans I have no idea……read his book you ignorant fucks.

  3. Rick Says:

    …..”they’ve never heard of Obama???”….
But the country is Hearing of B.O.
….heard that he would not wear a flag pin, it was not his kind of patriotism, until recently because it matter to many voters, and also started using flags in the background of his speeches.
..heard that he sat through 20 years of stupid hateful rants from Wright, and after explaining it 4 different ways, finally denounced him and expects the country to believe he disagreed with Wright.
…heard of him when he says now that he would never have talks with Iran, even when it is stated on his website that he would.
….heard of him having associations with admitted terrorist in Chicago, without denouncing them(as far as I know),
…heard of him when his wife expressed shame of her country for her entire life, until her husband is running for the presidency.
…..heard of him changing his Iraq plan from instant withdrawal to some type of timetable.
….also, isn’t there a trial going on in Chicago about a guy that has heard of him?
….heard of him being rated the most liberal member of the senate.
….heard of him voting “Present” on most of the bills that would be controversal.
….heard him say associations with people mean nothing, trying to explain that his associations are not important in this election..when you judge associations everyday, like reporters with Fox or CNN news, people at a gop or dem rally, gang toos on someones arm, because associations show alot about a person, in many cases they just about show everything.
….You know what?…. I think some people are beginning to hear of B.O., and I think West Virginia showed some of that yesterday.

“…his ideology belongs more in Havana and Caracas, than Washington, DC.”

Perhaps this is why Chavez, Hamas, and several other radicals so gleefully support Obama.

    ;-/

  5. Sarah Says:

    Ryan Knows,

Thank you for your post. Until now, no one has convinced me that I should vote for Obama. You have.

Your eloquent use of “f***” in various forms shows as mastery of persuasive language. Were you on the debate team?

You effectively used capitalization in case we weren’t completely sure when you were trying to make an important point. Kudos!

You informed me that merely knowing someone with a controversial opinion is the same as choosing that person to be my spiritual mentor for two decades. I don’t know why I didn’t realize that before.

I wanted to let you know that I called my relatives in West Virginia (including the CEO of an international corporation, two college professors, two attorneys and three professional musicians) and let them know they are backwards hicks who only care about hunting. They were a little surprised, but I think they took it pretty well.

Thanks, again. I shudder to think of the ill-informed decision I would have made in November without your comment.

  6. Ryan Knows Says:

Congratulations Sarah, you are a lucky person. It just so happens that your relatives must be the 8 most brilliant people in the state. And if they truly are as intelligent and creative as you claim they are, then I take pity on them for living in the kind of state that would vote so overwhelmingly for a candidate like Hillary Clinton. I use the F-word not to be persuasive, but as a result of my anger over such voting. Why would Obama lead the delegate count and popular vote in the country as a whole but then lose so badly in WV?? All of you attacking me on these posts say things like he doesnt appeal to the “average” american and that he is not patriotic (flag pins). So what is this saying? That WV is the “All-American” sate?? Is WV as a state more American than all of the other states put together? Hmmm, that’s an interesting argument. The comment about hunting, its a stretch, but let’s be honest. What is a major reason that people in places like WV, western Penn, and other places not like Obama, when he is leading everywhere else? GUn control is a MAJOR issue in those areas. And to people like me, I don’t see that as an issue at all. I think it’s more of an issue that people actually have the nerve to argue over gun laws with problems going on worldwide. Why can’t people just believe in Obama and turn over a new page in American politics? If Hillary wins, the presidency stays in the hands of one of the major policial families in the American government for the last few decades. Let’s start something new. Just believe in change. Okay, what if it doesn’t work out that way. ….could it end up worse than Bush’s presidency?

  7. Rick Says:

Yes Ryan…..with either of those two….it will end up worse!

No need to kick them out of the Union. Just cut off food stamps to W. Virginia for a few months. That should take care of the problem.
