Nathan Moore's Thoughts
No Math Needed At MSNBC
Keith Olbermann, who I adored on Sportscenter in the 1990s but sigh at now, apparently cannot count – assuredly, not well. It must be that Democratic education.
In responding to commentary regarding the Democrat attacks on the number of houses John McCain owns, he noted that the attacks were effective, and that there was a “seven point swing”, that John McCain was up 2 points on Barack Obama in July, but is now down by two.
Say what?
Silly Keith. Politics is for adults. No such poll exists, as I can attest, being one who has watched these polls daily for a year and a half. Certainly, I can be sure that a four point swing is not a seven point swing without the employment of imaginary numbers. But then, there is one “i” in Keith…
This is nothing new. MSNBC makes up tripe daily to bolster the empty suit from Illinois. Count this as just one more discredit, further marring the faux journalism on the peacock’s cable affiliate.

USA Today/Gallup (7/27) : McCain 49-45 Obama
USA Today/Gallup (8/23) : Obama 48-45 McCain
Granted, this was due more to a faulty likely voter model in the first poll which assumed the same number of Democrats as Republicans…but all the same.
