Nathan Moore's Thoughts
Her Teleprompter Broke?
From Red State
According to sources close to the McCain campaign, the teleprompter continued scrolling during applause breaks. As a result, half way through the speech, the speech had scrolled significantly from where Governor Palin was in the speech. The malfunction also occurred during Rudy Giuliani’s speech, explaining his significant deviations from his speech.
Unfazed, Governor Palin continued, from memory, to deliver her speech without the teleprompter cued to the appropriate point in her speech.
Contrast this to Barack Obama who, when last his teleprompter malfunctioned, was left stuttering before a crowd unable to advance his speech until the problem was resolved.
Yes, contrast that with Barack Obama, who has the bare minimum of his own cogent thoughts. Public speaking itself isn’t that hard – the key is knowing your subject matter, and what you want to say. Obama’s pathetic performances when he doesn’t have a script ought to make you wonder about what really makes the man.

Kinda makes you wonder who would be scripting the man if he is successful for POTUS…..

That is AWESOME! Its almost if the teleprompter malfunction story was concocted by some rightwing blogger in order to further the argument that Obama can’t do anything without a teleprompter!
Oh, wait, it was.
For what its worth, I checked in about 25 minutes into the speech and saw the teleprompter rolling….why the GOP allowed cameras at that angle is beyond me.

Ugh . . . seriously Nathan.
I have a question. Did you naively buy this stupid and demonstrably false assertion or are you just spreading it despite actually knowing it is BS (or do you even care that reality once again begs to differ because clearly reality has a lib’rul bias)?
This is not a rhetorical question. I am fascinted by the mindset that scoops up this horse sh*t and eats it up without an ounce of skepticism.
And fercrissakes, you do realize that the campaign admitted to having written the speech for her (they had to de-masculinize for her).

Morris,
You have to understand, Nathan thinks so little of Obama (in fact, every statement about him drips with contempt), that this story seems perfectly plausible.
To the Republicans, Sarah Palin is like Michelle Pfeiffer in Dangerous Minds…the great white hope lady come to save the day!

That’s the best you have? Say that the teleprompter malfunction was overblown. That she didn’t write the speech herself? Are you guys that politically naive? Have you never heard of speech writers? They are a common breed. Please don’t tell me you think Barack Obama writes that emptiness he spews himself.
And, you are incorrect, Sean – I think less than nothing of Obama. It truly isn’t that hard.
At least though, you still have your Barack Obama, who on his best days is the lightest of light weights, today claiming that he ALWAYS believed the surge in Iraq was a success “beyond our wildest dreams”. I’m sure you guys buy that.
He is a liar. Period. The man has no grasp on reality, the truth, or the truth as he wills it to be. Indeed, he morphs his desired truth in a way that makes Bill Clinton look like he is standing still. To be kind, he is entirely unaccomplished. That he is confronting Palin, claiming he has more experience than her, should tell you all you need to know. Not even he believes his own hype.

Interesting situation, the leading candidate for POTUS, at this time, takes more aim at the opposition VP candidate than the opposing POTUS candidate. Sounds a bit like fear to me.
A VP candidate getting more press than BO, and almost the amount viewers for her acceptance speech that he did, without the greek props. Bet that is tough on the old ego, you think?
