The biggest reason the crowd was small is that consevative thinking people WORK.

Where as the liberal government dependant people who will ride buses to protest about anything they are driven to have WAY too much time to stand around while I work for their next government hand out.

I find it interesting that many people, when you mention what is going on in OUR country, say that they would rather not talk about it, because Washington is not talking about hope, but disaster. many just don't want to hear it.....many just want someone else to drive....and leave them alone...sad in too many ways....

If I had known it was happening I would have been there. Can't believe I missed it. This is the kind of thing I have been railing against on my blog and am bummed that I didn't know it was going on.

I tend to agree with lewis, in a way. But these kind of movements always start small. They can grow and should grow. People I talk to kind of shrug when I try to engage them about this mess. They don't know what they can do. And most would probably rather watch TV than get involved. But we have to keep trying and be heard. It's our country. They answer to us in Washington.

The crowd seems kind of small. We are such an apathetic people. I am guessing Obama and Pelosi assumed the American people would just lie down and take it. They are probably right.
Maybe we are getting what we deserve.
